Sannyasa and Yoga Lifestyle Experience is for those interested in experiencing and living a spiritual life based on the five principles of sannyasa: satsang, sadhana, swadhyaya, seva and samarpan. It is an opportunity to connect with your spiritual nature and discover a new way to live life.
Sannyasa and Yoga lifestyle is a different experience, understanding and participation in life. There are two paths in life, the pravritti marga and the nivritti marga. Pravritti marga is the path of active participation in material life. Nivritti marga is the path of inner spiritual experience. This training offers the opportunity to disconnect from the pravritti marga and explore the spiritual aspect of life in an ashram environment.
Participants are encouraged to cultivate yogic discipline and inner awareness in the ashram. Ashram life is an active and dynamic lifestyle lived by everyone. The day is filled with seva, selfless dynamic participation, in activities dedicated to the spiritual and yogic vision of the tradition. While making the effort to integrate the faculties of head, heart and head, each day becomes an opportunity to discover new positive and creative expressions of inner potentials.
In Sannyasa and Yoga Lifestyle Experience the day starts early with a yoga class before breakfast. The morning routine is followed by the chanting of the Mahamantra. In the afternoon, there is a practice of yoga nidra and mantra chanting. In the evening, everyone joins a communal sadhana of mantra, bhajan and kirtan, and audio-visual presentations. Sannyasa Lifestyle Experience participants have the opportunity to transform personal desires and ambitions into a spiritual force.
Participants will have the opportunity to be part of organizing and participating in ashram programs and events, including Basant Panchami, Guru Poornima, Sri Lakshmi-Narayana Mahayajna, Satyam Poornima and the Padma Jayanti: Yoga Nidra Symposium.
