At midnight on the 5th December 2009, Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati attained the highest state of Maha Samadhi. On 6th December he was given Bhu Samadhi at Rikhiapeeth. Exactly one year later on 6th December 2010, the first day of the Sat Chandi Mahayajna, the Sannyasa Abhishek of Swami Niranjan, the spiritual successor to Sri Swamiji was conducted by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati and Kashi Pandits. This is no coincidence, but an indication of auspiciousness. The day and the event of Maha Samadhi was chosen by Sri Swamiji himself and the fifth and sixth days of each month will abound with his blessings, spiritual energy and radiance. Accordingly, at Ganga Darshan Vishwa Yogpeeth and at Rikhiapeeth, these days are considered sacred and special pujas and worship are conducted every month.
For the benefit of all devotees and spiritual aspirants a simple sadhana has been given by Swami Niranjan, to be practiced on the 4th, 5th and 6th day of every month. This sadhana is a means to offer ones devotion, adoration and worship to Sri Swamiji and come into alignment with the higher vibrations of illumined consciousness emanating at that time.
During the sadhana, it is most important to keep your heart open. Be innocent like a child and full of faith and you will feel and experience the grace and blessings of Sri Swamiji manifesting in your life.
